VALIDATION OF A HYBRID OBSERVER METHOD FOR FLIGHT LOADS ESTIMATION

In this paper, a novel high-precision aircraft loads estimator will be introduced. The method is based on a hybridization of two state-of-the-art loads estimators and enables an optimal use of the individual advantages of the underlying methods. The paper focusses on the introduction and validation of the Hybrid Loads Observer using an extensive flight test database containing high load events.
