An instrumented stator vane has been developed to measure its unsteady surface pressure using embedded MEMS microphones at the EESC-USP Fan Rig. Signal processing techniques are used on the collected data to characterize unsteady cyclic aerodynamics and investigate noise generation at fan-stator ensemble.
