Delimiting the range of validity of small deformations is indispensable in state-of-the-art aircraft design. Previous work dealt with comparisons between small- and large-deformation formulations for equilibrium conditions and small disturbances about them. In this paper, time-marching simulations for maneuvering flexible aircraft are performed, and the validity of small deformations is assessed.
