DIGITAL HYDRAULICS IN AEROSPACE APPLICATIONS: SLIDING MODE OF QUANTIZED CONTROL AND LMI APPROACH

L.P.G. Pinto¹, P. Krus¹, V.J. De Negri, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil; ¹Linköping University, Sweden

Digital Hydraulics technology has the advantage of energy saving on aircraft actuators. For that, it is important reducing the amount of switchings, which leads directly to a power waste. It is proposed a control design using both optimal control and sliding mode theory, whereas sliding mode is native due the quantization of Digital Hydraulics.
