MODELLING OF MIXED MODE FATIGUE-INDUCED DELAMINATION IN COMPOSITES: A COMPARATIVE STUDY

Two energy based damage models for the simulation of mixed mode delamination induced under high cycle fatigue in composite laminate is assessed within explicit time integration method using finite element method. It is shown that the constitutive models are able to well reproduce the delamination crack growth rate for mixed mode without any adjustment.
