Investigations has been made of integrating the propeller and aircraft for better installed efficiency resulting from the swirl recovery from either the downstream wing or a set of swirl recovery vanes. Results has shown that by making use of the angular kinetic energy in the propeller slipstream, the propulsion efficiency has been improved.
