MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMPOSITE PROCESSED USING EMBROIDERY TECHNOLOGY

Some of our R&D activeties on multifunctional composites processed using an embroidery machine are introduced. First a design and process method is proposed for placement of reinforcement fibers along a path optimized for some objectives. Then this method is applied to optimal design problems for multifunctional composites with fnctional fibers.
