The near-tip slot has demonstrated a profound potential flow control method in attenuating the wing rock. In current study, a more effective slot configuration was introduced. An oblique narrow slot near the wing tip was found to be an effective solution to overcome the wing self-induced oscillation phenomenon. Particle image velocimetry was carried in revealing the flow structures that contributes to the attenuation effect.
