This work deals with the characterization of therncontrol of convective wavepackets, typical of transi-rntional flows, using the Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equa-rntion as a model problem representative of thern2D boundary layer. Its simpli ed structure and re-rnduced order provide a manageable framework to explore rnhow the controller-actuatorrnstructure interferes in the control problem.
