LIFE CYCLE COST ESTIMATION METHODOLOGY FOR HYPERSONIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS

This paper aims at suggesting suitable Costs Estimation Relationships to forecast Research, Development, Test and Evaluation and Production Costs, applicable for hypersonic vehicles. The methodology starts from the identification of a comparable reference vehicle (in this case LAPCAT A2) and allows the development of cost estimations for the target transportation system (in this case LAPCAT MR2).
