ANALYSIS OF LOW-BOOM CHARACTERISTICS OF SUPERSONIC WAVERIDER

This research discusses the potential and possibility of applying waverider to develop a supersonic aircraft by considering two important point, the sonic boom and aerodynamic. This research conducted by numerical simulation and optimization. The result found that cone-derived waverider shows significant potential to be able to reduce sonic boom while provides high lift force at the same time.
