This paper provides insight into how various geofencing algorithms impact mission performance in terms of maximum speed, area of operation and other maneuvering constraints. The developed algorithms and final conclusions will facilitate rule making to establish operational standards and provide industry recommendations for small UAS operating in urban environments.
