ON THE CALIBRATION OF THE INTERMITTENCY TRANSITION TURBULENCE MODEL FOR WIND TURBINE AIRFOIL BY MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHM

The new one equation intermittency transitional turbulence model has been previously validated but yet a further complex calibration involving more model correlations are necessary to obtain perfect agreement with experimental data. The aim of this paper is to calibrate these correlations by means of machine learning technique. With the findings, it can enhance the applicability of this model to a broader aerodynamics application especially for the design of wind turbine.
