Experimental results of external factors effect on bulk structure of unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) specimens are presented. The following factors - moisture, temperature, freeze-thawing cycling and mechanical loading (tensile) were applied. Pulsed acoustic microscopy technique with high resolution (30 ?m) was applied to studying the bulk structure of samples. It was shown that freeze-thawing cycling is one of important catalysts accelerating the PMC degradation and impulse acoustic microscopy is effective tool for studying PMC structure degradation under external factors exposure.
