Blended Wing Body research and development activities completed by Boeing over the past 10 years are described in this paper. Advanced vehicle concept studies were completed to identify technologies and configurations that have the greatest opportunity for meeting and exceeding the fuel burn, noise & emissions goals laid out by NASA Aeronautics’ Environmentally Responsibility Aviation Program.
