DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION OF A VERSATILE UAV FOR OBSERVATION AND RESEARCH USING THERMAL COLUMNS FOR EXTENDED ENDURANCE

LOW ALTITUDE LONG ENDURANCE PLATFORM VULTURE CAN BE ADJUSTED TO A NUMBER OF MISSION PROFILES DUE TO THE USAGE OF INTERCHANGEABLE MODULES. THE ACTIVE PROCEDURE OF DETECTION AND UTILIZATION OF THERMAL COLUMNS FOR SOARING FLIGHT SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES ENDURANCE. THE ADAPTABILITY AND LOW FUEL CONSUMPTION ALLOW VULTURE TO PERFORM PROLONGED RECONNAISSANCE WITH ADVANCED EQUIPMENT.
