UNSTEADY AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE OSCILLATING AIRFOIL USING MSBS

This paper presents MSBS-based wind tunnel system suitable for low Reynolds number flow fields. To study unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of an airfoil, the MSBS was employed to levitate and to oscillate the airfoil in the test section. The results showed the applicability of the MSBS-based wind tunnel system to identify unsteady aerodynamic characteristics in low Reynolds number region.
