GLOBAL-LOCAL STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITE WINGS

The design and certification process of modern aerospace structures require a detailed stress characterization. This work proposes a global/local model based on refined models that are not available in commercial tools. The method is demonstrated to be very effective and efficient for failure, localized buckling and post buckling analysis of wing structures.
