EVALUATION OF AIRCRAFT BRAKING PERFORMANCE BASED ON OPERATIONAL FLIGHT DATA

The capability to stop an aircraft is essential during both the landing and the take-off phase. A method to determine the maximum braking capability using recorded operational flight data is developed and presented. The method is essential to perform risk assessment with respect to runway excursions.
