PROPELLER INFLUENCE ON THE STABILITY OF HALE AIRCRAFT

Although propeller propulsion is present in many high-altitude long-endurance aircraft, the effect of the propeller on stall and the aeroelastic behavior of such vehicles is generally not included. This proposed paper will present the development of an enhanced nonlinear aeroelastic framework that enables the investigation of propeller effects on the free-flight of very flexible aircraft.
