The aerodynamic design of modern aircraft requires the rapid, cost efficient capability to analyse and optimise a vehicle configuration. This paper presents studies of a lower fidelity, rapid solution method for the prediction of the force and boundary layer characteristics for the design analysis of transonic transport aircraft configurations.
