PRELIMINARY STUDY OF THE AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF KRUEGER FLAP ON THE SST CONFIGURATION

To improve the low-speed aerodynamics and to coexistence with laminar wing on the SST configuration, aerodynamics performances of the Krueger flap were studied using the CFD analysis. Aerodynamic characteristics were understood at several flap locations and deflection angles to obtain the benefits of the Krueger flap at preliminary design phase.
