A HYBRID DIGITAL-PROPORTIONAL HYDRAULIC ACTUATION SYSTEM FOR AIRCRAFT FLIGHT CONTROL

The previously presented Digital Hydraulic Actuator is now combined for the first time with the traditional servo system in order acheive good performance a reduce energy consumption. The results show that with the right design the solution is able to reduce the energy consumption significantly. It is highly relveant to other applications where hydraulic power is fundamental.
