MULTIDISCIPLINARY OPTIMIZATION OF UNMANNED AIRCRAFT IN A SYSTEM OF SYSTEMS CONTEXT

This paper explores the use of MDO in the early development stages of unmanned aircraft when the design requirements include a collaboration in a System of Systems environment. The proposed framework considers models that can capture the mission, stealth, and surveillance performance, while the computations are further enhanced by a module which can simulate the cooperation on a given scenario.
