UNSTEADY AERODYNAMIC INFORMATION EXTRACTION USING FFT-BASED UNSTEADY PRESSURE-SENSITIVE PAINT MEASUREMENT

Unsteady aerodynamic information on the 2-dimansional NACA0012 model was extracted using the FFT-based unsteady PSP measurement. The extracted aerodynamic information, which are power spectrum, coherence, phase, and phase velocity, were useful to understand the detailed flow structure of unsteady aerodynamic phenomena. They are also useful to validate unsteady CFD results.
