ANALYSES OF AIRFLOW AROUND DUCTED FAN PROPULSION SYSTEM IN PUSHER CONFIGURATION USING PIV METHOD

The paper presents some aerodynamic phenomena which appear in the airflow around a ducted fan. They have been investigated using PIV method during wind tunnel tests and by CFD analyses. The influence of these phenomena on thrust and drag force of the investigated fan has also been presented.
