This paper investigates broadband communications of the “e-enabled aircraft” and surface wireless networks at airports that are expected to transform airports into a beneficial, but complex, net-centric environment with multiple stakeholders. Specifically, it focuses on enhancing the network performance for improving airport operational capacity and efficiency.
