The aerodynamic wake of a transport aircraft is highly influenced by deployed spoilers. Mean and turbulent flow field quantities downstream of a wind tunnel half-model in approach configuration with and without deployed spoilers are analysed by Stereo Particle Image Velocimetry and Hot Wire Anemometry.
