Discreet communication devices to improve communication between the pilots, flight attendants, and possibly air marshals are essential. The flight attendants need to be able to alert the flight deck discreetly of such dangers, and pre-warn the pilots of possible attempts to enter the cockpit or security breaches in the cabin.
