Keywords: stol, electric motor, driving wheel

A new take-off method which can drastically cut ground-run distance is proposed. In this method, the landing gear wheels are driven by an electric motor. The effectiveness of the method is validated through comparison of the ground-run tests of scale model with the analysis of driving force and design parameters.
