THE RESEARCH OF DISCONTINUOUS GALERKIN P-MULTIGRID SOLVER

A p-multigrid algorithm is established for the discontinuous Galerkin method. The 2-D Euler equations is solved by this means and the transonic flowfield of airfoil is simulated sucessfully. It is obvious that 80 percent iterations and CPU time is saved, approximately.
