SiC devices enable of high temperature operation of power converters. The paper analyses the operation of a high temperature inverter demonstrator, the interaction with respect to gate drivers and the possible optimization. SiC-JFET devices were obtained from SiCED. A full inverter has been packaged in a Si3N4 module.
