Keywords: x-31 vector, canard -wing aircraft, stability & control, aerodynamic methods, wind tunnel data

Work relates to Stability, Control Prediction Methods assessment on canard-delta “X-31-Vector” aircraft (AVT task). Low-order theories apply reasonably well to incidence 15o, results: very comparable with high-order CFD solvers. An interpretation of trimmed flight is offered. Infer improved understanding of complex configurations (strongly interacting/separating/vortical flows).
