FROM ANALOGUE BROADCAST RADIO TOWARDS END-TO-END COMMUNICATION

The capacity of the current ATC system is limited by the legacy analogue broadcast voice radio communication. Future ATC air/ground communication will be digital point-to-point communication, but the implementation of a digital system will still take one or more decades. This paper proposes an idea for an interim-solution to adapt the current analogue broadcast communication to analogue point-to-point communication.
