Keywords: AVIATION DESIGN, TRANSPORTATION ARCHITECTURE ANALYSIS

The capability to design general aviation aircraft through simulation of the national transportation system architecture is examined. Aircraft design typically finds solution in subjective balancing of requirements, performance, and costs. Here, the predicted performance and cost become inputs to travel demand analysis and simulated service providers. Design and requirement choices propagate into high, architecture level metrics.
