Keywords: LARGE-SCALE TRAFFIC FLOW MANAGEMENT

Discrete air traffic flow management is a computationally intensive task and is, thus, very difficult to perform optimally on a nationwide scale. This paper describes methods for solving this problem in significantly reduced time (10X speed improvements) while maintaining solution quality (within 1% over a global optimum).
