The MITRE Corporation conducted field trials at the Indianapolis ARTCC to evaluate the benefits of advanced ATC training tools and techniques.  The tools included an autonomous simulation-pilot capability that uses automated speech recognition and synthesis.  This paper describes the simulation pilot capability and presents performance results collected during the trials.
