Modern military multi-role combat aircrafts need an emergency power system (EPU) to maintain back-up power supply for all normal and degraded flight modes. This paper presents a study of a novel EPU system based on stored energy system, medium concentration hydrogen peroxide and methanol, together with a turbine solution.
