The U.S. FAA is developing a comprehensive suite of software tools that will allow for thorough assessment of the environmental effects of aviation. This paper will provide an overview of the Environmental Design Space which has the capability to assess the interdependencies among aviation-related noise, emissions, and environmental impacts.
