In today’s operations Monitor Alert Parameter (MAP) is used as a sector’s capacity limit that reflects the controllers’ acceptable workload. The paper examines if complexity-model, a better representation of workload, based capacity limit could result in higher sector capacity than using MAP value under a variety of scenarios.
