The Wake Turbulence Mitigation for Arrivals (WTMA) concept of operations is described in this paper. WTMA allows increased arrival throughput to airports with closely spaced parallel runways (CSPRs) by providing a cross-wind prediction that helps controllers apply separation standards without requiring wake vortex spacing constraints.
