This paper discusses fuzzy PIO detector based on Gaussian complex wavelet time-frequency analysis and Fuzzy C-Spherical Shell (FCSS) clustering algorithm. Fuzzy PIO detector can identify the PIO events with flight data and the features extracted by wavelet transform. FCSS clustering algorithm optimizes membership functions of fuzzy inference for different aircrafts.
