A SMALL SCALE PITCH-PLUNGE FLUTTER MODEL FOR ACTIVE FLUTTER CONTROL RESEARCH

A pitch-plunge flutter model mount was designed for active flutter control research. The design is considered novel as it is much smaller and structurally simpler than existing models on which it is based. Test results agreed well with theoretical predictions, and gentle, low speed flutter was demonstrated without damage.
