The project SAFEE envisages implementation of innovative aircraft security systems. The foreseen on-board system for the assessment of threats and the response to in-flight security events is TARMS. In this paper the TARMS design is outlined, the expert knowledge capturing is explained and results of the validation experiments are presented.
