Paper presents an analytical procedure employing the optimization solution to determine the engine mounting stiffness parameters, which are critical considering the whirl flutter stability. It allows moving the whirl flutter analysis to the aircraft earlier development phase in order to make possible structure changes and increase the certification process efficiency.
