The structure modification of a turbulent boundary layer due to the action of large-scale vortical structures has been investigated. These vortical structures are generated by the interaction between a quasi-2D yawed synthetic jet and a turbulent boundary layer. The wall turbulent structure activity is strongly affected by the manipulation.
