Recent work at QinetiQ is described that builds upon 30 years work on conceptual design methods at Farnborough. Modular synthesis methods are being developed to cover a wide range of air-vehicles. The QinetiQ methods are integrated with multi-disciplinary analysis and optimisation, providing powerful design tools and reducing design cycle time.
