The uni-dimensional analysis of the ablative process in a cylindrical body has been achieved by solving the diffusion equation for the considered geometry. The solid material is subject to the ablative phenomenon at its external phase. The results obtained are the thickness and the rate of loss of the ablative material, obtained by the Generaralized Integral Transform Technique.
