HYFLEX (Hypersonic flight Experiment) was conducted in February 1996. In the present study, surface temperature history of HYFLEX C/C nose cap is analyzed by CFD-FEM coupling simulation. In the latter half of the paper, real gas CFD computations, corresponding to ONERA F4 hot shot tunnel heat transfer measurements, are reported.
