The development of numerical simulation capabilities that can handle actual launch vehicle configurations are reported. At this point along the development process, good results have been achieved with adaptive, unstructured grid, finite volume techniques for 3-D, inviscid and turbulent viscous flows over sounding rockets and satellite launcher configurations.
